Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to non-business customers. No voluntary right of withdrawal is granted to business customers.

Customers have the statutory right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (STELO UG, Magdeburger Str. 3, 14641 Wustermark, email: info.stelo.shop(at)gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous written statement, for example by post or email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

The buyer cannot rescind the purchase contract if the reason for rescission is wholly or predominantly the buyer’s responsibility or if the buyer is in default of acceptance. Default of acceptance occurs when the buyer does not accept the purchased goods offered in accordance with the agreement.

This condition does not apply to second-quality goods sold to the customer at a special price with defects known to the customer in advance, or where the returned goods have been damaged by the customer.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except any additional costs resulting from your choosing a delivery method other than our least expensive standard delivery. Reimbursement will be made no later than fourteen days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We use the same payment method as for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us (STELO UG, Magdeburger Str. 3, 14641 Wustermark, email: info.stelo.shop(at)gmail.com) without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

The customer must arrange the return of goods that cannot be sent as a parcel (“freight goods”). The customer bears the return costs. Where we accept returned goods, the buyer bears all risk until the goods reach us.

The customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods only if it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
